Victorian Department of Environment, Land, Water and Planning: The Department has co-funded and been a key advisory body for the length of the project.

The Cooperative Research Centre for Spatial Information: Funded the first 4 years of the project and focused on the development of tools to identify redevelopment precincts, assess development proposals and create implementation models for the process.

The Cooperative Research Centre for Low Carbon Living: funded the second 4 years of the project focusing on community engagement, statutory planning, housing typology creation, precinct additionality (community co-benefit) and the set of playbooks attached to this website.

The Australian Department of Industry, Innovation and Science, Smart Cities and Suburbs program:  Who co-funded the last two years of the project, specifically the funding of staff in partner municipalities to develop new planning regimes for the projects implementation
